Description : The new module for Rompler Roland – VS Concerto .
Modern mastery of the bygone era : The golden age of video game music inspired not only nostalgia, but also gave rise to one of the most interesting and exciting genres in electronic music: Chiptune, 8-bit, or, as is known to many, just “chip music”. Relying on the legacy of chips and hardware of game consoles and computing systems of the past, modern artists not only recreated the sense of music made on these early chips, they brought these sounds to the present and the future.
Without a soldering iron : Initially the genre of Chiptune was defined by highly skilled musicians and technicians who dismantled their favorite video games systems, chipsets or used outdated computers, and then used the old sequencing software to create masterpieces of modern music. While we maintain a high degree of respect for the masterfully created genre, without any reference to electrical engineering, we could write a composition without using a soldering iron.
We are proud to present the emulation tool for the most legendary gaming sound chips. To create modern music it took more than 40 years to use great games and we created patches that capture the musical essence of games throughout history.
Not just for games : For the newest FLAVR series instrument, we again teamed up with Ehud Kaldes, who is an expert producer, sound engineer and multi-instrumentalist. Working in the best LA recording studios, he collaborated with some of the biggest names in the music industry. We are happy to give you the opportunity to try the latest addition for Roland – VS Concerto.
