The original MAGNUM-K™ is a single-channel compressor designed to complement the audio engineer’s skill. It consists of two consecutive compressor sections (MAGNUM COMP and K COMP), a very musical parallel EQ (with LMF and Mäag’s signature AIR BAND®), as well as a Soft Limit. In collaboration with Brainworx, this design was turned into a compelling plugin and the concept was taken to the next level. BX added L/R and M/S Stereo capabilities, added 20 different analog channels using patented TMT technology (Tolerance Modeling Technology, US Patent No. 10,725,727) and several convenient plug-in-only features such as M/S Stereo Width, Mono-Maker. etc.

TMT (US Patent No. 10,725,727) takes into account the realistic tolerances of audio components found in audio circuits and offers different channels of analog audio that have realistic differences in frequency response, time constants in dynamic sections, etc.
TMT is the same revolutionary technology that can be found in console emulations from Brainworx (eg SSL 4000 E&G).
The result is digital audio that sounds as analog as possible, whereas even the L/R channels of a stereo system will respond slightly differently, delivering wide, lifelike analog audio to your computer!
