This final volume of our horror and suspense series combines everything with a brand new set of creature and human voices, eerie industrial percussion and a fresh supply of atmospheric horror and suspense sound design elements.
This huge collection features 6 unique creatures and 5 classic human NPCs (“Non-Player Characters”) voiced in soundbanks, organized into 38 event categories, each including a wide range of alternate RRs and style variations to choose from. It has everything you need including screaming, choking, falling, hitting, growling, breathing, jumping, laughing and more. The sounds are ideal for use in horror and action movies, movies, commercials and animation.
Percussion includes 27 deep, resonant metal articulations, from rusty anchors and steel gongs, to hinge creaks and loud door slams. We are masters of “epic” sound, but sometimes you need something that just floats in the air with warmth and resonance. To do this, you need to get up close and record softer dynamics to bring out the complex sustained tonality. We wanted to convey that tense, intimate and sinister feeling in this industrial percussion ensemble, so we worked with bare hands and boots on location in various abandoned bunkers and recorded right at the point of impact to fully immerse ourselves in the atmosphere and deeper vibes as they pass through the inner depths of these abandoned and decaying relics of past wars.
To create atmospheric and tonal instrumental content, we decided to play a bit and get weird. We’ve assembled a huge assortment of creatures to create the “Choir Of The Dead” refrain and 13 different chromatic creature whistle/scream sounds. You’ll also find various cacophonies of people and creatures, as well as soundscapes recorded in bunkers. These elements are perfect for game and animation soundtracks, commercials, and other fun and/or bizarre situations that busy media composers, sound engineers, and re-recording mixers tend to have a lot to do with. Most importantly, all samples are fully available as 24bit 48kHz WAV files for use in any software or hardware environment you desire.
Description
The Kontakt interface includes a set of automation-ready sound shaping controls for complete creative flexibility. You have control over swell, attack, decay, offset, vibrato, filter, pitch (coarse and fine), articulation switching, crossfading, layering and more. We’ve also included 20 unique special effects sound presets that will give you a lot of creative options.
This library comes with an adaptable LFO system with selectable LFO shape, modulation target, speed, intensity, tempo sync and decay time. You can also apply your choice of 12 low-pass, high-pass, and effect filters with assignable modulation targets such as velocity, modwheel, expression, post-touch, key position, and step sequencer table control. Our customizable arpeggiator offers a velocity table and controls for direction, timing, swing, randomization and arpeggio duration. We’ve included a key and scale locking system to limit your notes to common scales and keys for easier melodic composition and live performance.
The interface is complemented by our modular FX rack panel with 18 different DSP effect modules that you can assign to any of the 10 available slots in any order. You’ll find a classic phaser, flanger, delay, distortion, amp and cabinet simulators, compressors, EQ, rotator and more. The reverb effect includes our favorite reverb convolution impulse responses, including 99 different rooms, halls, chambers and outdoor environments, plus 40 more customizable impulse FX to radically transform your sound and open up whole new worlds of musical possibilities. To start, we have added a great bank of factory presets for the FX chain!
