Description: U-he Diva captures the spirit of various analog synthesizers, allowing the user to choose from a variety of alternative modules. The Diva’s oscillators, filters and envelopes are modeled copies of the components of famous analog synthesizers of yesteryear. Modules can be mixed and matched to build hybrids, but what really sets the U-he Diva apart from other synthesizers is its pure, authentic analog sound. This sound is possible only with a fairly high CPU load, but according to the developers from U-he it is worth it. Diva is the first virtual synthesizer to use real-time electronic circuit simulator techniques such as PSpice. The zero-latency filter behavior clearly demonstrates the benefits of this grand approach. DiVA is a monster in the world of virtual synthesizers, a real challenge to analog devices.
