Description : The Progressive Foundry SDX was recorded at the renowned Sing Sing Recording Studios in Melbourne, Australia by engineer/producer Forrester Sawell. He chose Sing Sing Recording Studio for this project. In over 35 years of operation, the studio has amassed a huge selection of top-of-the-line microphones and rare outboards. Combined with the dense wood walls in its perfectly balanced A-Room, Sing Sing has proven time and time again to be the perfect medium for wide, transparent drum recordings. Handpicked by Karnivool’s Steve Judd himself, the drums have been collected from all four corners of Australia and represent a vast collection of the finest in rare, vintage and contemporary styles.
