A month after the release of the official VST version of the drum machine Roland TR-808 , the Japanese company released a virtual version of the drum machine Roland TR-909 Software Rhythm Composer. VST plug-in Roland TR-909 is developed by Roland Virtual Sonics studio and is available to all subscribers of cloud service Roland Cloud.
Representatives of Roland note that the new plug-in is the first official virtual version of the legendary drum machine that accurately reproduces the sound of the original instrument. The circuits for the transmission and generation of the sound signal were reproduced using the special modeling technology Analog Circuit Behavior, which allows to achieve the most accurate and similar sound with analog equipment. For more plausibility and interesting sound, the developers have equipped each pattern and each sound with eight variations that switch randomly during use.
In addition, the plug-in has a 16-step step-sequencer “TR-REC”, which allows creating sequences for each percussion and percussion instrument. The sequencer is equipped with randomization and mixing settings, support for sub-steps and rich possibilities for creating fills. According to the developers, the sequencer is suitable both for creating simple drum parts, and for working with polyrhythmic and complex drum lines. All patterns can be freely imported into the project inside the DAW as an audio or MIDI clip.

Installation step by step example:
To start installing the plug-in, you must first install the Cloud Emulator (those who already have TEAM.R2R.Roland.Cloud.Emulator.v1.1.0-R2R do not need to be installed). Next, do all the starts and settings on behalf of the administrator .
1. Run the file R2R_IS_AGAINST_BUSINESS_WAREZ_170811.cmd from the TEAM.R2R.Roland.Cloud.Emulator.v1.1.0-R2R distribution folder , the black window will appear:
Press any key and the window will close.
2. Run the Setup Roland Cloud Emulator v1.1.0.exe file in the same folder. There everything is simple NEXT, NEXT, NEXT, FINISH. The emulator is installed.
3. Run the Setup SRX ORCHESTRA v1.0.1.exe file in the distribution folder. When installing, select the bit depth. There all the same it is simple.
Problem solving:
If the error occurs after starting the plugin, edit the hosts file manually (for example, using a notepad that was run as an administrator), which is located at: C: Windows System32 drivers etc. Put a space between the lines:
127.0.0.1 www.r2rdownload.com
HERE SPACE
127.0.0.1 www.elephantafiles.com
HERE SPACE
127.0.0.1 www.r2rdownload.net

127.0.0.1 www.elephantafiles.net
Make sure the host file is edited and saved.
Another option , if nothing helped:
The emulator must be installed last, i.e. after installing ALL products Roland.
