Description
~ Experience a new era of compressor plugins ~
Cenozoix compressor from Three Body Technology is named after the Cenozoic era, the
time after the extinction of the dinosaurs. Packed with innovation, this mixing and mastering plugin leads the new era of compressors.Description Continued
Get the sound of 12 classic compressors
Cenozoix contains compression algorithms for all the main production elements, including Drum, Vocal, Bus and Mastering, as well as algorithms that recreate the sound of vintage compressors such as Black FET, Blue FET, Vintage Opto, Virtual-Mu and others, providing the perfect balance of practicality and versatility. This compressor plugin is capable of satisfying all your compression needs – from a tight and modern sound to a powerful vintage charm.
Apply distortion-free compression to your mixes
Ultra-fast attack and release times can lead to unwanted distortion when using existing compressors. The Cenozoix compressor uses a warping mechanism to avoid these distortion effects, making it a top choice for peak and sidechain compression. Use it to tame the harsh transients in a snail sound or create basslines that swing with the kick.
Reduce Antialiasing at Low CPU Load with ADAA
Traditional anti-aliasing techniques aimed at preventing high-frequency distortion rely on CPU-intensive oversampling. Anti-derivative anti-aliasing (ADAA) is an audio processing technology developed by Native Instruments and originally used in waveformers. Rather than relying on oversampling, it uses advanced mathematics to reduce aliasing without incurring a heavy CPU load. Cenozoix Compressor is the first compressor plugin to implement ADAA.
Provide natural and responsive peak compression
Many compressors use a static release time, catering to short or long transients, but not both. The Cenozoix Compressor’s peak comb feature dynamically adjusts the release time based on the transient nature of the input signal, providing natural and sensitive control over dynamic peaks. This makes the compressor great for complex signals running through vocals, guitar, drums, and stereo buses.
Get fine control over the compression envelope
The Cenozoix Compressor plugin features a peak detector for fast transient response and an RMS detector for smooth compression. Using these detectors in parallel allows you to combine their strengths, providing both instant response and smooth compression suitable for complex audio material. You also have the option of using a pure peak or RMS detector, which is best suited for individual track elements. [collapse]

Changelog v1.1.1 :
Bug fixes :
– Fixed a bug where dialog boxes would display incorrectly in some cases.
– Fixed a bug where preset names and modification statuses would display incorrectly.
Optimizations :
– Added a setting that, when enabled, displays the options bar for the selected band in the SideChain EQ, allowing you to double-click to enable the input for editing.
– Added a status indicator to show when SideChain Mode and the SideChain EQ are active.
– Added 3dB, 1dB, and 0dB options for the maximum dB value in the waveform display.
– Added -6dB and -3dB options for the minimum dB value in the oscilloscope display.
