I recently saw in an advertisement that pure, organic instruments are gaining the interest of EDM composers……. maybe better said as making a comeback. I’ve long wondered why so many sample libraries don’t include the unprocessed version of the sampled instrument, giving the producer the option to process as he/she wishes……. ya buy a library with character (via DSP, FX, etc.) way outside your style…… kinda self-defeating.
On topic now…… the Battery 3 and older versions’ libraries are fat with pure/organic drum/percussion samples. Battery 4 kinda retired the purist drums; they could and should have included at least one or more of the Battery 1, 2, and 3 libraries. I THINK our esteemed Admin hooked up a link to the Battery 3 library for which I remain grateful.
Sorry for flooding your comments section 🙂
The problem with old libraries like Battery 3 and below is the small number of seeders and torrents that are still active, but we will definitely post them if we find old libraries that are still active.
