MeshBrush is a Unity editor extension that allows you to draw meshes on the surfaces of your GameObject.
Quickly detail and enhance the overall look of your scenes by directly drawing your finished meshes onto your GameObjects.
You can define multiple drawing grids, how to arbitrarily scale, rotate or offset them, and eventually resize them additively on generation, without having to actually change any of the original prefabs.
Add multiple instances of the MeshBrush script to your GameObject to define multiple sets of meshes you want to draw and set the randomness settings for each set separately. The MeshBrush will then randomly cycle through your sets and paint the meshes you define based on the parameters of the corresponding script instance.
Once you’ve finished drawing the meshes, you can optimize your scene by combining your drawn meshes with the “Merge Painted Meshes” button.
Once you feel like you’ve set up your perfect brush, you can save the configuration to a template file and load it into each brush you want. You can even share your templates with teammates.
