Description : Dirty sounds help you add subtle or very perceptible texture pads to your individual instruments or the whole mix. For example, you can add vinyl noise to give the illusion that the instrument you are using was sampled from vinyl. Add some tape noise to make it feel like your piece was recorded on tape before cassette emulators were invented.
Drum layers are a fantastic tool for adding meat to your drum parts, as well as giving them a hefty sound density. By experimenting with different layers, you can give your drum parts more depth and “atmosphere” sound. Thicken the low end of the Kicks using tned sbs samples, or add transient layers to sharpen their presence in the mix.
This sample pack is a real treasure trove for a sound designer as it includes effects like gravel footsteps, plastic squeaks and crackles, door slamming sounds and more.
From myself: throw on any drums, modulate the volume and you will have a raw sound of the 90s.
