Where was this when I needed it so badly? Every year from 7th to 12th grade a bunch of us would hook school to earn tickets to the annual Clyde Beatty Cole Brothers Circus. In 8th grade (c. 1972, soon after fire was invented…. or was it the wheel?) I needed this package……. actually tried to call my ma and convince her I was on detention after school; my friend lived a block away from the circus grounds, so he’d be typing in the background…… the biggest problem was my parents were ultra-hip. The ploy failed due to underestimating their hipness 🙂 🙂
