Description : The virtual plug-in is based on the EMT 140 plate reverb. The original device was developed in the 1960s in Germany, and after its release changed the sound of popular music around the world thanks to advanced spatial processing algorithms and ease of use. Arturia completely recreated the sound of the device, transferring to the digital environment not only all EMT 140 circuits, but a preamplifier with a vacuum lamp. The sound of the effect is full and volume with juicy tails, which is perfect for processing vocals, as well as gluing the mix.
In addition to re-creating the original features, temporarily the Rev PLATE-140 plugin offers a number of convenient and modern features. So users can filter and equalize the sound signal at any time it is inside the virtual device: for example, you can process the sound before it hits the plate of the device. This feature allows you to cut off the entire buzz without the help of third-party plugins. The plugin is also equipped with pre-delay control, a high-pass filter at the input, a chorus and an output post-processing section.
