The library is built from 10 GB of data and contains over 3,800 individual loops, divided into sixteen folders. Each folder consists of several parts and many options. This way you can easily create a full drum sound. Performances were recorded at tempos ranging from 60 to 140 beats per minute. With Elastik’s high-quality tempo algorithms, you have added flexibility to find the perfect tempo for your project.
The loops are divided into six separate Elastik sound banks. The first contains loops of full drum mixes, and the other five contain all multi-track loops from the same performances. The drum mix sound bank includes two different mixes – processed and dry – for each drum performance. The former contains a fully processed stereo mix with effects and atmosphere and gives instant results. The dry mix also allows for a fast workflow, but allows the user to add their own selection of reverb, etc.
Multi-track sound banks contain all multi-track loops for the same performances. Within each folder, a raw drum mix is provided along with individual loops of each microphone used in the recording process. These include both internal and overhead kick drum mics, top and bottom snare mics, hi-hat mics, multi-tom and cymbal mics, and overhead and omnibus mics can be used to add natural ambience. So the mutitrack versions give you complete control over your drum mix.
