Description : SketchUp is a program for modeling relatively simple three-dimensional objects – buildings, furniture, interiors. In March 2006, it was acquired by Google along with a small firm @Last Software. In April 2012, Google sold SketchUp to Trimble Navigation.
Compared to many popular packages, this one has a number of features that are positioned by its authors as advantages.
The main feature is the almost complete absence of preset windows. All geometric characteristics during or immediately after the end of the tool are set from the keyboard in the Value Control Box field (parameter control field), which is located in the lower right corner of the workspace, to the right of the Measurements inscription (measurement panel).
Another key feature is the Push/Pull tool, which allows any plane to be “pushed” out of the way, creating new sidewalls as it moves. This tool is claimed to be patented[4]. You can move the plane along a predetermined curve, for this there is a special Follow Me tool.
The lack of support for displacement maps (English) is due to the product’s focus on a non-professional target audience.

drag Sketchup Pro 2020 folder to Applications
If an error pops up: xxx is damaged and can’t be opened
1. Remove the installed program
2. Disable Gatekeeper with the command:
sudo spctl –master-disable
3. Install again
4. Open the program by pressing the right button and the “open” menu item (open )
5. Repeat for other programs
6. Enable Gatekeeper with the command:
sudo spctl –master-enable
