With Sound Canvas VA, you can now use classic sounds in your program as a VSTi plugin. It includes 1600 high-quality sounds, plus 64 different insert effects, main effects such as reverb and equalizer, as well as ample opportunities for editing sound.
There was a time the SoundCanvas software could be installed to provide GM tones system-wide, making it replace the Windows-native GM synth, and also Quicktime synth. I’ve tried with recent versions but no mention of it….. anybody familiar with the SoundCanvas ability to be your systemic synth, not just limited to VST in DAWs?
