If music is your profession, your passion, or both, MAATgo is for you. MAATgo is specially designed for anyone who listens to HRA (High Resolution Audio) files and streams on their computer. In the golden age of consumer hi-fi, some preamps not only had a “balance” knob, but also stereo / mono mixing controls and even an oscilloscope to instantly display the amplitude, frequency, and phase relationship between left and right channels. Marantz, Panasonic, Pioneer, and SAE have occasionally included an oscilloscope in their receivers, while the legendary and revolutionary Holman Corporation preamplifier from Apt Corporation featured a series of channel-routing switches and continuous stereo / mono mixing control. It was not “extra functionality”, unnecessary functions to fill the list. The Apt re-fix and blend controls served a very useful purpose.
In the era of analog technology, most hi-fi enthusiasts had separate stereo components, such as a tuner or preamp, each serving a single purpose. With the advent of “computer sound” this setting can be reduced to a personal computer feeding a DAC or digital-to-analog converter. In turn, the DAC powers the power amplifier or powered speakers. While this minimalist setup excludes the preamp, it only has a volume control, and most turntable applications lack the typical controls other than volume. Discover MAATgo, a preamp worthy of the advanced choice. When any of the controls are disabled, they completely “do not work” and do not affect sound quality. When any control is enabled, its DSP uses double precision 64-bit floating point math for maximum precision. In addition, MAATgo will operate at up to 384 kHz, compatible with the highest quality public files and lossless PCM streams.
