Description : Stutter Edit was created by iZotope in collaboration with composer and musician Brian Transeau (BT). Stutter Edit features revolve around an innovative engine with real-time sampling and allow producers, musicians and performers to manipulate audio data live. He cuts the sound material into small pieces and rearranges them into distinct rhythmic effects, allowing you to reproduce a technique that would take many hours in the studio. The result can be either a quivering, looped effect, or a more subtle one: the melody can be decomposed into a syncopated rhythmic pattern, and the drums – in an arpeggio with a pitch shift. Stutter Edit balances an elegant MIDI circuit, which makes the process of adding an effect easier, as if you were playing an ordinary instrument.
