Unlike simple screencasts, this detailed screen recorder captures a selected area of the screen as animated GIFs. Simply put, it’s a clever combination of static images and full-length videos. Use it when you need to create and share animated how-tos, micro-videos, as well as demos and work guides. Incidentally, Gifox is also great for bug reporters.

Select any area of the screen
Create a GIF from a specific area of the screen by selecting it and simply pressing “Record”. Alternatively, use the keyboard shortcut Cmd + Shift + 5 to instantly record screen actions. Once you’re done, just hit the stop button and Gifox will automatically create a small GIF, saving it in your Downloads folder.
Choose one window
Easily and quickly make a neat recording exclusively of the application window – without overlays or clipping, instead of taking many screenshots, helping the team in identifying some annoying mistake. Installation :
• Open *click* the file you downloaded with the extension – .dmg
– After checking the file by the system, the image will open
• Holding down the Ctrl button, open the icon with the gate *Open Gatekeeper friendly*
– A terminal window will open
• Press the ENTER key and wait for the process to complete
– The image with the application will open
• Drag the application to the folder -> Application
