Description: Bitwig Studio is a new look at the process of creating and performing electronic music in the studio and on stage!
Bitwig Studio offers a fresh look at the process of creating music, deepening the interaction with the program – from sketching to full compositions! Record, arrange, improvise – or even do it all at the same time!
Bitwig Studio is a fully customizable windowed interface; You yourself choose the elements you need. Quickly switch between the three main workspaces of the program – Arrange, Mix and Edit, or activate all three at the same time, placing each on a separate monitor!
The Detail Editor allows you to optimize the audio workflow by supporting non-destructive changes to individual clips. Stretch, merge, pan, copy, flip and move clips the way you want! Edit multiple files at once in one window, concentrating on one clip, or work on an entire track.
Bitwig Studio allows you to record and edit Velocity, Gain, Pan, Timbre and Pressure data for each individual note. In addition to standard note messages, the program includes many unique MIDI instruments, such as a microchromatic editor, and is the leader in supporting MPE (Multidimensional Polyphonic Expression). Bitwig Studio supports the most advanced MIDI controllers like Roli Seaboard and Linnstrument.
Does the bassline or the beat from a previous project seem perfect for the current session?
Now there is no need to limit yourself! In Bitwig Studio, you can work with several projects at once, moving individual elements from one to another on the fly.
Create and edit fades and crossfades with adjustable curvature right inside clips, in the session window or in the audio editor! Just hover your mouse over the area between clips and edit the fade, or create it automatically by dragging and dropping one clip onto another.
Synchronize the tempo of your samples with the tempo of your project using the advanced time-stretching engine.
Trust the syncing process to Bitwig Studio, which automatically adjusts the timing of your clips, or customize everything yourself using the built-in tools. Bitwig Studio offers 8 different stretching algorithms for all occasions, including the new Zplane Elastique algorithm.
Bitwig Studio instantly integrates into your setup. The modern architecture of the program will allow you to simultaneously work with both 32- and 64-bit VST, without the need for external bridge systems. We support the new VST3 format, which includes the ability to record expression note data and more precise automation.
Never again will you see a single plugin crash your entire DAW. The built-in Sandboxing engine will take care of the safety and stability of your project in case of failure of individual VSTs, in the studio and on stage! Forget about problems, concentrate on creativity!
