Description : Outer Space – an emulation plug of the famous vintage tape delay, created in the early seventies. As an initial device, Outer Space has a tape echo section with three heads and a spring reverberation compartment.
We modeled three different frequency response and saturation bands, as well as all the analogous shortcomings of recording / playback on magnetic tape. We also modeled the delay rate (repetition rate), which can create an eerie tone shift (due to the Doppler effect), one of the classic echo-based sound effects.
