Description: Explore new musical ideas by turning words into notes!
AudioCipher is a musical inspiration app. It’s designed to give producers like you a tool to practice and play with as you come up with new ideas. You just enter a word or phrase and key. AudioCipher automatically translates your text, letter by letter, into a series of MIDI notes. You can drag and drop this MIDI data onto the virtual instrument track of your choice.
Why turn words into music? Because composers have done it for years to overcome creative exhaustion. Nobody wants to do such a transformation in their mind (too much math), so we have automated this process for you.
Some people use AudioCipher with RipChord, a free chord generator plugin, to create new and unexpected chord progressions. The advantage of AudioCipher is that it can help you get a starting point for composition, songwriting, and beat creation. It is not a melody generator like Melody Sauce. AudioCipher will only show you the way, and it’s up to you how to move on.
As a commitment to our users, AudioCipher is helping to create a free community on Discord where people can share their thoughts and music. This will ensure that you are not working in isolation.
