Description :
A nostalgic look at the sound of the mid ’80s. Not quite as edgy as BRH 26 – Working It Out from the year prior, however, very much with a pop feel to much of the tracks, if only a little repetitive. Brian Wade handles the lion’s share of this collection, with a Michael Jackson-esque opener in “Rhythm Of Love”. “Here It Comes” will take you right back to the days of expensive, colorful and square sunglasses (which can be had rather easily today) with its driving synthesizer beat, as will “Cool Notes”.

The oddly titled “Pepsi Production” will make one wonder if it was ever used for a Pepsi advert or something similar. “Easy Street”, inspired by songs such as Sade’s “Smooth Operator” (loosely) breaks the party up a little, shifting the mood to something far more laid back. The same composer group shifts the mood back in the other direction, with the cool pop/rock number “Dark Star”. The closer “Nashville 99″ is rather reminiscent of music one might hear on Knight Rider from the third season forward — very synthesized takes on familiar formulas.
