Vacuum Classic is a monophonic vintage synthesizer simulating a rarity model with a vacuum tube circuit that perfectly reflects the crisp, warm sound of the analog era. Thanks to analog oscillators, multiple filters, envelopes and built-in sound effects, the Vacuum allows you to immerse yourself in the subtractive synthesis to recreate popular analog sounds from the 70’s and 80’s. Turn the switches, knobs and dials to program anything from basses, leads, pads to unique sound effects.
Vacuum gives you two oscillators with 4 waveforms, with which, instead of just choosing one, you can “morph” between them. Next, the oscillators pass through the mixer, where you can apply the drive / distortion and ring modulation parameters before the signal goes to the high and low pass filters.
Included are a wide range of presets developed by the designers Richard Devine and Mark Ovenden and cover everything: Leads, Pads, Bass, Arpeggios, Percussive and FX, which instantly inspire anyone.
Filters provide an even sound, but each of them offers saturation control if you prefer a more aggressive sound. A very nice addition can be found in the “age” handles, where you can set the “drift” value of the pitch to apply to the oscillators, or the amount of “dust” that might make the sound old and noisy.
The streamlined vintage interface, designed in the classic synthesizer style, pays tribute to some of the best vintage lamp machines of the past, powerful and easy to use.
