Description: There are equalizers with beaucoup bands and plenty of features to play with, and there’s an equalizer so stripped down and precise it cuts like a scalpel. Paging Weiss EQ MP .
Weiss EQ MP, developed as a fruitful collaboration between Softube and Weiss Engineering, is an equalizer designed for professional use. Based on the minimum phase algorithm of the legendary Weiss EQ1, we designed the EQ MP for demanding mixing applications that require surgical EQ and audio quality that is superior to all others. Featuring seven bands like the acclaimed EQ1, the Weiss EQ MP gives you the famous EQ1 transparency combined with the highest possible precision. Achieve stunning clarity in your mixes with the Weiss EQ MP, the gold-banded sonic surgeon.
Like the authoritative Weiss EQ1 mastering, the Weiss EQ MP features 64-bit double-precision processing, internally oversampled using Weiss’ low-noise filtering algorithms. It features the same seven full-range EQ bands with a cut/boost range of -39 to +18dB with an incredible Q-range of 0.2 to 650. The Weiss EQ MP supports linked/unlinked L and R channels as well as M/S. treatment. A unique feature of the Weiss EQ MP is the increased number of filter slopes. The EQ MP has 0dB, 6dB and 12dB slopes like the EQ1, but we have added 24dB, 48dB and 96dB slopes to the EQ MP. This addition makes the Weiss EQ MP an incredibly versatile and powerful tool for any mixing operation.
