Description:
Tortured wood? Hell yeah! We spent the last month breaking wood—dropping 40-kilogram loads onto piles of debris, and smashing pallets, planks, and furniture as loudly as possible! We also subjected wood to torture in our sound design “quiet room,” consigning half a dozen baskets of it to the flames—resulting in some truly nasty-sounding ignition and burning effects.
