Chimes can be used to great effect to add color to a soundtrack, providing a powerful emotional impact. They are also incredibly useful as source material for building the foundation of a musical piece or sound design project.
Recorded at a 192 kHz sample rate using four microphones with an extended high-frequency range (Sennheiser MKH800, MKH8050, and a pair of MKH8020s), this library offers a wealth of harmonic material. It includes eleven different sets of wind chimes, ten percussion instruments, and four sets of bells (including classic jingle bells, perfect for any Christmas-themed applications).
