Description: Pulsar Echorec is a software emulation of the legendary echo / delay device of the same name, produced by the Italian brand Binson in the 1960s.
The sound of this magnetic disk delay differs from the tape delays that were in use at the time, and contributed significantly to the sound signature of many 70s bands: Pink Floyd, The Shadows, Jimmy Page, etc.
Vintage Echorec devices are renowned for their richness, self-oscillation, and reverberation that shape the music created in the 70s. However, they are also known to be fragile and difficult to maintain.
The Pulsar Echorec plugin gives you a faithful emulation of this legendary echo module; In addition, many workflow improvements were added to the original, such as the ability to change the motor speed (and therefore the delay time) in real time, or sync it to any tempo, including the listening tempo.
Three different devices under different conditions have also been accurately modeled to get all sounds from the purest magnetic delay to the very grunge.
These additions and Binson’s signature Echorec 2 sound make this echo a must-have tool for any mixer looking to add the subtle analogue resource that is sorely lacking in digital delay plugins.
