Description: 8Dio Studio Orchestral Percussion is a heavily sampled collection of six orchestral percussion instruments. This unique collection contains first-class marimba, glockenspiel, xylophone, vibraphone, crotals and tube bells.
All instruments were deeply sampled with an extensive set of articulations. First, you have the option to choose the type of hammer you want to play. We recorded both soft / felt mallets and hard wood, which reveals very different tones in the instruments. Secondly, we recorded the instruments with brushes and bows, which gives a whole range of other articulations. We also recorded tremolo for instruments.
But just as important, we recorded all the instruments with our new Groove Sampling ™ method. Groove Samples lets you play instruments like you can’t use traditional multisamples. Samples give perfectly smooth and natural percussion sound. We recorded Groove samples in three different tempo and multi-layer layers. There is really nothing like them, and this patented method is the property of 8Dio sample collections.
In addition, we recorded everything through many microphones, in three main positions (Close, Middle & Room). Everything has been processed through the NEVE custom console, giving you the best possible sound. Orchestral Percussion Studio is designed with playability and ease of use in mind. All articulations and game styles are easily accessible from our built-in browser system and with just one click.
We’ve also included a new dual layer FX system. The first is our external FX system, which gives you control over trans-gates, filters, pitch, delay, compression, and our new texture convolutional delay. It allows you to take dozens of new convolutions and use them as delay components. We’ve also included our new Chaos FX engine, which gives you control over things like EQ, phasing, distortion, stereo delay, and additional convolutional reverb.
The library is added through the Add Libraries Files tab by loading the NAME.nki tools
