Description:
The Winter Environment asset is designed for fast and high-quality development of winter landscapes. Contains additional shaders, with which you can adjust the amount of snow on trees, grass and supports. All trees work with both the standard Unity Terrain and the Vegetation Studio system.
In collaboration with BOXOPHOBIC, we have developed AG Global Settings, an advanced GPU management system that is intuitive and easy to use.
AG Global Settings allow you to control global wind parameters such as direction, amplitude, speed, scale, and mesh rigidity. You can control wind settings both globally across the scene and locally for each material. This allows you to adjust the rigidity of objects and how they are affected by the wind in different ways.
In addition to wind settings, AG Global Settings contains global settings for AO/Translucency/Tint Color and Snow. Global settings can be unique for each scene. You can customize the appearance of the environment without changing the underlying mesh materials.
You can use this pack together with Vegetation Studio or Vegetation Studio Pro for super fast rendering!
The textures are high resolution and were created from scanned data. The asset contains 3 types of trees. Each tree type uses only two materials (leaf and bark). The trees have low overlap at low load.

Limitations:
• Only SM3+ hardware is supported.
• Ambient Obscurance scalable post processing will cause visual artifacts on objects (Unity limitation).
• Objects are distorted when using extreme wind settings.
• Snow settings from AG Global Settings do not affect terrain textures.
Important:
You must store one of the AG Global Settings or AG Global Snow (Limited) prefabs in each scene.
Use only one AG Global prefab in your scene. Multiple AG Global prefabs are not supported.

Winter Environment has been tested using HDRP versions 5.7.2, 5.13.0, 6.9.0, 6.9.1, 7.1.5, 7.1.6 and 7.1.7. Please note that the HDRP template is currently still in development. The package does not work with other HDRP versions. Please be patient, we will add new HDRP versions in the next updates.
To achieve the same camera effects shown in our screenshots/trailer, you will need to import the post processing stack and set the Color Space to Linear.
