Description : It is not surprising to anyone that in addition to mobile format videos, short content is becoming increasingly popular. Today, the media is responsible for shortening our attention spans. Therefore, it is very important to captivate your audience from the first seconds of your video.
This course is designed to teach After Effects in a unique, informative way. Regular classes usually cover very simple concepts with perfectly shot footage, making it harder for newbies to give up on the topics covered in these classes. What inspired me to create this course was the fact that no one seemed to have taken into account the most important concept in editing: arranging and adapting videos with our raw data. This class really covers the process of polishing and refining recorded clips to turn them into usable blank media. This is the basis of any project.
This tutorial covers advanced fault tolerance concepts in the simplest possible way. This means that even if you have absolutely no idea how to use After Effects, you can still easily follow along. Everything is done step by step and explained. No guesswork, shortcuts or over-explanation. After half a century of video editing, I have gathered valuable knowledge in this diverse project to cover all the tools needed to become an independent artist, different from the usual editors.
We will be creating a short video from seven clips that I randomly selected from my phone’s gallery. This proves that any video, if handled correctly, can be turned into a masterpiece. After Effects offers us the ability to manipulate the video to our liking, and we will perform smooth transitions with the provided media files (these can be found in the Resources for this class).
Your move!
Your class project is to create a short video using all the knowledge we learned in class! Be sure to download it here under the Projects tab. I will share valuable information so everyone can benefit from it, watch the video and get inspired!

Feel free to use your videos to create your project. These could be stills from the Internet or videos from your gallery. All you need is a few clips and combine them using what we’ve learned.
