Description : The piano in this EKX was recorded using a classic technique where an extra layer of felt is applied directly to the strings that the hammers strike, giving the instrument’s tone a much quieter attack and an overall warmer, more intimate resonance. To capture every possible tonal aspect, the recording used one mono as well as three different stereo pairs of carefully selected microphones. All of these microphone settings were then used in a wide collection of presets, showcasing everything from subtle, nuanced and delicate to fuller and richer – all with that delicate and almost velvety attack. In addition to the sounds, a basic MIDI library specifically designed for the instrument is included, giving you a starting point for working with piano grooves and inspiration as you explore the sonic possibilities of the product. If your songs call for a piano with silky-smooth sounds, this is it.
Installation :
Copy the EZK2-FeltPiano folder to the directory where the other EZKeys libraries are located.
Copy the 000734@EKX_FELT_PIANO file from the Midi folder to the Midi directory where the other EZkeys midi grooves are stored.
