These drums were originally recorded for Eric’s personal use. Due to the sheer volume of recording time and content captured during the “Sunday Jazz” sessions, they had all but been forgotten. Eric rediscovered three reels of analog tape containing full jazz drum recordings. He kept the first reel for his personal collection; this release features the recordings from reels 2 and 3.
