When we set out to create this tool back in 2018, we wanted to provide as wide a range of functionality as possible β pushing the technical capabilities as far as possible β without making it overwhelming or unique. For me, the sweet spot with a tool comes when the creative process is simplified rather than complicated by too many options or menus.
Ultimately, the speed at which the end user can create high-quality sounds is the most important factor with Astra; There are no cumbersome preset loading times and slow interface graphics anywhere. Almost all of Astraβs features can be viewed simultaneously in an open interface without having to navigate complex menus or multiple tabs. The interface can be resized freely by dragging the lower right corner.
