Each pipe produces the sound of one fixed pitch, so they are provided with one or more pipes per note. The Lakeside Pipe Organ has several sets of pipes of varying tone, pitch, and volume that the player can use individually or in combination. The actual organ of three keyboards, playing for the hand, bass pedal for the foot, each of which has its own group of stops.
