Slate Digital Heatwave is a single-knob saturation plugin designed for quickly adding character and warmth to a sound.
It combines saturation, compression, EQ, and transient processing while maintaining clarity. This plugin is ideal for adding “noise” and aggression to drums, bass, guitar, synths, or vocals without losing attack and naturalness. For example, you can sharpen drum hits, add warmth to the bass, or emphasize the texture of an acoustic guitar.
The interface is minimalist: the main Drive knob controls the effect’s intensity, while additional Input, Output, and Clip settings allow you to fine-tune the signal level and limit peaks.
