Additional Information :
It’s with great pleasure we present the latest release by Samplestate, which has been carefully curated by the underground label “Little Helpers”. The first volume of this series is produced by Lee Walker and Phillip Stirzaker, covering Minimal, Tech & Deep styles it perfectly represents the sound of a label. Little Helpers boasts an incredible artist roster, and also receives support from the industries top underground DJs.

Little Helpers is a conceptual digital label courtesy of Andrew Rasse (a.k.a. Butane) and Sean O’Neal (a.k.a. Someone Else) launched in December 2009. Each release on Little Helpers is a strong, reduced groove-tool aimed to satisfy the increasing number of digital DJs. Much like the traditional locked groove vinyl, these tracks are suitable for looping, editing and layering. Yet at the same time, each track has enough variation to stand on its own. That is, each tune, lies somewhere between a full track and a DJ tool — focusing solely on the rhythm or a singular idea rather than extraneous arrangements. This new series of sample product takes this concept into new territory and offered an inspiring pack jam packed with the essential building blocks for Minimal, Tech and Deep productions.

The creators of this pack, Lee Walker and Philip Stirzaker, are both rising production talents from the town of Middlesbrough in Northeast England. Both are well respected DJs and residents for both Solar Knights and *Riffraff respectively. They have releases on labels like Little Helpers, Love Not Money, Static and others, as well as accolades including Traxsource’s top-10 and support and radio plays from many reputable artists.

Lee handles A&R for Mile End Records and Philip has released on Dale Howard’s Static Audio, he is also a regular at Fabric in London. He is the former PR Manager for the Zoo Project in Ibiza and the current manager of the underground venue Medicine Bar in Middlesbrough.

Together these two artists/producers have created an inspiring and versatile pack, which is presented by Little Helpers — providing the perfect raw materials for crafting your Minimal, Tech & Deep productions.
