Description : Following the announcement of the Roland TR-8S iron instrument with the ability to play the sounds of classic drum machines of the past, Roland 808 and 909, but also 707, 727, 606, the Japanese manufacturer introduced the virtual instrument Roland Cloud TR-808 Rhythm Composer.
Roland used Analog Circuit Behavior technology to transfer the analog circuitry of the device into the program code to recreate the sound of the original TR-808 drum machine. Moreover, new features have been added.
The famous drum machine touched almost all areas of modern music, pretty inheriting imprints. “808-barrel” has become such an integral part of hip-hop that it is now impossible to imagine how the genre would sound today, and how far behind the musical evolution of our realities. “808-dram” in the culture DNA is the driving force behind its development and the flow of direction. “TR-808” is so omnipresent for many years that its dramas seem to be an independent language of expression. Now the sound of the “808th” is the basis of youth urban culture, in particular, trill-fonk, trap, cloud, videowave and other directions.
Roland TR-808 is one of the most influential music inventions that spawned the clone machine industry and the library of samples. Almost every self-respecting producer has samples of her drummers. It’s almost impossible to find a software synthesizer or drum machine that doesn’t have a digitally recreated version of its sounds.
Indeed, this device should pay tribute for such an extensive contribution to music and for the impetus in the development of the musical equipment industry. It is safe to say that in our century there will still be many directions in which this tool from Roland will play one of the key roles, existing out of time, but moving tirelessly into the future.
Installation step by example:
To successfully launch the plugin installation, you must first install Cloud Emulator (those who already have TEAM.R2R.Roland.Cloud.Emulator.v1.1.0-R2R do not need to be installed). Further, all start-ups and installations should be done on behalf of the administrator .
1. Run the file R2R_IS_AGAINST_BUSINESS_WAREZ_170811.cmd from the folder TEAM.R2R.Roland.Cloud.Emulator.v1.1.0- R2R , a black window will appear:
Press any key and the window closes.
2. Run Setup Roland Cloud Emulator v1.1.0.exe in the same folder. Everything is just NEXT, NEXT, NEXT, FINISH. The emulator is installed.
3. Run the Setup SRX ORCHESTRA v1.0.1.exe file in the distribution folder. When installing select bit. It’s all just there.
Problem solving:
If after launching the plug-in an error pops up, edit the hosts file manually (for example, using a notepad that was run as administrator), which is located at: C: Windows System32 drivers etc. Put a space between the lines:

Make sure the host file is edited and saved.

The emulator should be installed last, i.e. after installing ALL Roland products.
