Three working layers allow you to combine samples and the generated signal for more individual sound. The other day, the popular sound designer released a special version of the synthesizer Rob Papen Raw, sharpened to create only bass drum sounds (kick).
Rob Papen Raw-Kick offers three individual layers to generate drum sound. Each layer can operate in two modes: Kick Synth and Sample-Based. In the first mode, Raw-Kick independently generates a sound signal, in the second mode it uses samples. Thanks to this, musicians and producers can create complex sounds of kick, combining the generated and sampled sound. This practice has long been used in the music industry to create a bass drum sound, and, unlike Peipen’s design, often requires working with several plug-ins at the same time.
Each sound layer has a number of adjustable parameters. So, users can control overtones, filters, effects section and processing algorithms. In addition, the synthesizer has a special section Master, consisting of a double equalizer and a number of effects for polishing the sound of a kick.
The plugin comes with a large library of presets from various DNBs, hardcore and hardstyle producers, including DJ Promo, Caine, DJ Mad Dog, Ophidian, Sinister Souls, Tha Playah, The Outside Agency and Wavolizer.
