Paint brushes
Paint Studio includes a selection of the best natural material brushes from the Pro Studio suite for easy access to the digital artist.
User interface
Paint Studio, like all dedicated Pixarra products, has a clean interface designed for a simple and fast workflow. A dark theme is shown, but light color themes are also available.
Quick access panels
On the right are two panels that you will use a lot. Color Management panel and Brush panel. All panels in Paint Studio will automatically hide if they interfere with drawing. Manual hiding of all panels is also possible using the F3 hotkey.
Quick command bar
The shortcut bar provides a customizable set of buttons that you can keep close at hand while you work. Resize and reshape the panel to suit your needs. Add, remove, and move buttons to create the layout that works best for you. Quickly show or hide the panel using the hot key [F4]. Right-click to change the button or add it to an empty slot. [Ctrl] + click to drag the button to a new location. As an added bonus, the Shortcuts panel provides some functionality not available elsewhere in Paint Studio.
Strong brush effect system
Since custom ArtSets are available, you might wonder where you’ll get your new brushes from. There are multiple ways, common custom brushes on the Pixarra forum, brushes imported from Pro Studio, OR you can now edit brushes directly in Luminance Studio with Pro Studio’s powerful brush effects system. First, IMPORTANT NOTE: Editing brushes is NOT an easy task. There are over 500 different effects that can be combined in 28 effect layers, each processed with hundreds of modifiers. I think it’s safe to say that Pixarra’s brush effects system creates the most powerful brush engine in existence. This is evidenced by the ability with the same engine to draw simple lines or a fully detailed tree with a single stroke, which can be seen in Tree Studio.
Layers
Support for easy access to layers in Paint Studio. The idea is to keep your workflow simple and fast. A simple single click to create a layer without scrolling. Right click the layer for more options. Drag the layers to change their order.
