Description: The most popular retro-inspired collection from MSXII returns… Retro Drums 3! These 80s-style gems deliver the real deal when it comes to carefully crafted, vintage-inspired uniqueness. The vintage drum machines featured this time around include Korg units, the Vermona DRM mkII, the MPC60, and the SP1200 (for that signature saturation). As always, we’ve reimagined these samples to bring you rich textures, distinct character, and great tone. This is more than just another collection of vintage drum samples—it’s that signature MSXII quality. The samples were re-sampled and processed through an MPC60 or an SP1200 (borrowed from a friend), run through our 500-series outboard gear, and then treated with lo-fi coloring, lush delays, subtle reverbs, and crisp compression to provide you with our best work yet. We’ve also included pre-mapped kits for Maschine and Ableton, complete with custom FX groups! Retro Drums 3 is cool! Take these classic vibes—and everything beyond them—to the next level.
