Here they serve another collection from their popular “Urban Cookbook” series, designed for hip-hop, dubstep, dirt, drum and bass and breaks, but no less suitable for house, techno and other styles.
This third movement consists of sounds that, according to Goldbaby, are “filled with saturated fat, monosodium glutamate, a bunch of sugar and certainly not suitable for a low cholesterol diet.” Sounds bad for the waist, but it’s a fair estimate of the severity of the impact some of these sounds carry. Kicks, hats, loops and claps and other drum bases are round, warm, crisp and full of tons of textural options. In addition, there is a great deal of variety in sub-cymbals, toms, and percussive beats.
