Description: GForce M-Tron Pro is an imitation of such a legendary, vintage instrument as Mellotron, developed in the early 60s of the XX century. Mellotron sound extraction occurs due to the connection of each key of the instrument with the tape drive mechanism, which puts the tape in motion. The sound of the corresponding note is respectively recorded on the tape.
Mellotron can be considered one of the first, if not the very first sampler. The hardware Mellotron is an extremely capricious and unreliable instrument with constantly deteriorating sound quality. Fortunately, the digital library does not face any deterioration in sound quality, and it will allow you to recreate the sounds of this legendary instrument on your computer. The M-Tron Sound Library includes many instruments, not just Mellotron’s familiar “string” sounds.
The instrument was used by The Beatles, Yes, Led Zeppelin and The Moody Blues.
