Description : Sidechain Gate allows you to perform smart mixing methods using the original track as a gate for another track. For example, you can use the hi-hat pattern on one track to rhythmically gate the synth on another track. Or, use the gate on the bass guitar, getting the effect from the percussion drum (so that the bass guitar will only be heard when the barrel sounds).
Moreover, Sidechain Gate is easy to use and works in almost any audio complex – even in those that do not directly support side-chang. It only takes a few clicks and it will work!
Sidechain Gate also brilliantly performs the role of the usual insert effect. Elements of EQ and Shape allow you to intelligently gating recording problems. Let’s say that you want to clear a noisy drum record that has a leak from the plate. Just use the Hi Cut control to filter out higher frequencies and then the gate will skip the sound when the snare sounds.
