1. Download and install V-Ray. No need to install the License Server.
2. Copy vray_v43000_fix.dlr to the 3dsMax plugins dir ( C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max 2020 \plugins )
Or to the vrayplugins dir ( C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max 2020 \plugins\vrayplugins )
