Description :
Enscape is a powerful 3D rendering software. Designed for architects of all skill levels,
advanced engineers and construction professionals, it can perform walkthroughs and VR visualizations of their projects.
This plugin easily integrates with popular design programs such as ArchiCAD , Revit , SketchUp , Rhino and Vectorworks .
One of its key features is the ability to render in real time, which allows users to instantly see changes to their projects as they are made.

What’s new :
Selectively exclude assets in white mode: Users can now exclude specific Enscape assets or asset categories from white mode, improving project presentations by making it easier to focus on important project details. This allows architects, landscape designers, and urban planners to highlight specific elements while keeping the rest of the scene in white mode. Additionally, the Invert Appearance option allows selected objects to appear in white while everything else retains its original colors and materials.

Please note :
This feature only applies to Enscape assets and custom assets in the Enscape asset library .
Due to technical limitations, selecting individual assets is not supported in Rhino 7 .

SketchUp 2025 Support : Initial compatibility with SketchUp 2025. New features of SketchUp 2025 , such as photorealistic materials, are not supported yet and will be introduced in future updates.
Enscape will remove unsupported versions of host applications from its installer three months after the official end of support announcement. With the release of Enscape in June 2025, the only supported versions will be SketchUp 2025 , 2024, and 2023. Older versions of SketchUp will be removed from the Enscape installer .

SketchUp – Geometry Export Option for Batch Rendering and View Switching: Enscape now includes a Geometry Update option in SketchUp , allowing users to control whether geometry is reloaded when switching views or batch rendering. When disabled, Enscape will not reload geometry, improving performance when navigating between views. This option is available at the bottom of the Manage Views panel and the Batch Render dialog.

Revit – Background Pattern Support (Solid Color Only): Enscape now correctly displays solid background colors defined in Revit graphic visibility overrides , ensuring that visualizations match the visual appearance of Revit . If the foreground pattern is solid and the background pattern is solid, the foreground pattern takes precedence. If only the background pattern is solid, it will be displayed. Other (non-solid) pattern types are not supported. Override priority follows the standard Revit hierarchy (Element > Filter > Category), ensuring consistency between Revit and Enscape .

Hardware Ray Tracing – Emissive Materials Now Account for Albedo Texture Color: Enscape now correctly accounts for the color of the albedo texture when calculating the emissive color of materials using hardware ray-traced artificial lighting. Previously, albedo textures had no effect on emissive intensity. Now, darker albedo textures will result in a decrease in light intensity, while colored albedo will introduce the correct color shift. This provides more consistent and physically accurate lighting behavior when using ReSTIR-based indirect lighting.

Allow Enscape to run without My Documents permissions: Users who do not have write access to the My Documents/ Enscape folder can now run Enscape on Windows, whereas previously they were blocked from using the product. A warning message will inform users of limitations (such as the inability to save settings or create panoramas). The warning appears at startup unless the user selects “Don’t show again.”

Fixed bugs :
– Rhino – Textures disappear when rotating 90° or 270°: Textures now remain visible when rotating 90° or 270° in Rhino , ensuring materials display correctly at different rotation angles.
– Exaggerated ghosting on translucent materials: Fixed an issue where disabling DLSS would cause excessive ghosting when moving around materials with dark or transparent textures.
– Archicad 28 – BIM information not showing: Fixed an issue where BIM information was not showing in the BIM panel when launching Enscape in Archicad 28. –
Camera sync state was being sent too late on renderer startup: Fixed an issue where camera sync state was delayed when initially launching Enscape in SketchUp , Revit , and Vectorworks , causing the Field of View slider in Visual Settings to remain unlocked. The camera now syncs correctly on startup, ensuring the correct position and fixed field of view settings from the start.
– Revit – Crash when switching documents: Fixed a bug where Enscape would sometimes crash when switching views from a small, simple project to a larger one opened in a second Revit document.

Known issues :
Renderer crashes on wrong encoding: In some rare cases, the Enscape renderer crashes when the plugin sends a specific folder for writing in case of multi-byte utf8 characters.
