Description : Autodafe GoodBoy is a re-creation of the sounds of Nintendo Gameboys and primitive cartridges such as LSDJ. The library is based on the samples of this Game Boy.
The Game Boy is operated by ArduinoBoy using the Little Sound DJ (LSDJ) cartridge.
The original Gameboy has 2 channels with impulse waves (usually called PU1 and PU2), a Wav channel (which, of course, can play samples), and a “Noise” channel that outputs … noise. Autodafe GoodBoy has channels PU1 and PU2.
Original impulses were recorded note by note and looped for continuous play. In addition, pulse variations of the channels PU1 and PU2 were recorded.
Autodafe GoodBoy has additional features, such as the Octave selector for PU2, filters (HP and LP), LFO filter. The Autodafe GoodBoy also has an arpeggiator and Chord, Reverb and Randomize buttons.
