Description : PlexiTape is a precise analogue imitation of a vintage tape echo * Maestro® Echoplex® EP-3 ™, thanks to which the sound of the 70s became sound and reliability.
We pay special attention to modeling this device in all aspects: motor, tape recorder, FET preamplifier, heads and even the infamous “Sound On Sound”. SOS allows you to use echo bypass and therefore use tape as a recorder. In addition, we have expanded it with new features, including a full stereo double-delay line, tempo synchronization and much more.

I was VERY fortunate to have acquired 2 of the original Echoplexes, which I used for many years live, setting one for reverb and the other for ethereal echo for leads on among others Pink Floyd’s ‘Breathe’ and ‘Time’. Never imagined such a piece of software would ever exist.
