List of changes v2.5.8 :
A major quality of life update designed to streamline workflow and smooth out the gameplay experience.
This is a recommended update.

New opportunities :
Sequencer: Randomize and Lock buttons are now directly on sequence channels.
Sequencer: Individual channel rotation.
Sequencer: Added ’64th’ and ’64th triplet’ grid sizes.
Sequencer: BPM modifier for DAW. Play sequence at half or double tempo in DAW.
Map Filter – Folder: Now shows the number of samples in each folder.
Map Filter – Folder: Improved selecting/disabling nested folders.
Map Filter – Folder: Significantly sped up scanning times.
Map Filter – Folder: Recordings are now sorted alphabetically.
Map Filter: The map now updates much faster when changing filter settings, especially ‘filtering by folders’.
Map Filter : Right-click a filter header to expand that filter and hide all other filters. (handy if you don’t have a very large screen).
Map: When ‘Select on Hover’ is enabled, ‘Similar Samples’ will only update when you click on a sample. This speeds up work and also prevents you from losing a sample you like if you hover over the map again.
Map: ‘Select on Hover’ in Galaxy mode no longer works on samples that have been filtered.
Map: Use the middle mouse button to move around the map. (Samples are not selectable.)
Map: The map list now works with the navigation shortcuts (e.g. WASD, hot swap, retrigger) set in Settings.
Map: When creating a map, ‘Use file/folder name as category suggestion’ is now enabled by default.
Map: Added a ‘Refresh’ button to the map browser for quick rescans.
Standalone: Audio/MIDI settings have now been moved to the top of the Settings page.
Standalone: Politely asks if you really want to exit, rather than just doing so instantly.
Standalone: Now uses the native OS windows and window buttons. (ie close, maximize, minimize)
App: Minor graphical changes to panel alignment.
App: Resizing can now be done by dragging any edge of the app. (Some DAWs may not support this feature).
Drum Kit: DAW will now show drum category as note name. Unfortunately not all DAWs support this feature. (e.g. Ableton does not, but Reaper and FL Studio do).
Sample: All Advanced Sample controls now support multi-selection of drums. (especially useful for Choke groups)
Sample: Shape Release can now be longer. (1.5 seconds instead of 0.65 seconds)
Sample: Sample start/end and decay positions are now fixed using “parameter lock”. For example, set all envelopes to very short time, parameter lock, ‘New Kit’ to get different sounding glitchy drums.
Export: You can now set rules for folder and export file names. For example, include BPM, put index first, include sample category…
+ other performance improvements.

Bug fixes :
Appendix: Fixed a bug where entering knob values with the number keys would result in double-clicks.
MIDI Out: MIDI Out now reflects the drum kit settings. For example, using General MIDI or changing the root note will output the correct notes.
MIDI Out: Notes generated by triggering the drum pads in the UI now generate MIDI note-off events.
Map Filter: Folder: Samples contained in FLX Loops and Drum Kits are now handled correctly.
Map List: Fixed sorting issues where samples in different folders had the same name.
Map List: Fixed a bug where the position in the map list would sometimes jump if you changed settings such as favorites.
Map: Fixed a bug where samples deleted from the map could still be hovered over.
Sequencer: Fixed a bug where resetting the BPM would result in 20 bpm.
Drum Kit: Fixed a bug where the lock buttons would remain visible after exiting hover mode in multi-select mode.
Drum Kit: Fixed a bug where saving a kit with multiple different samples with the same filename (eg 1.wav) would cause the samples to get mixed up.
Sample: Fixed a bug where the colors of various components would sometimes not update to the sample color.
Browser: Fix forcing the browser to rescan the database if the database cache file cannot be found.
Browser: Fixed a bug where samples inside loops or drum kits could not be previewed or opened in the OS.
