Description: Tiltration combines a newly developed saturation processor using 8x digital oversampling to deliver faithfully simulated Trident harmonic distortion on any audio source. On board you’ll find Tonelux Loudness and Tilt EQ for added flexibility. In addition, we include variable Sullen-Key high and low pass filters with continuously variable slope of up to 18 dB, which together provide unparalleled versatility and creative control.
A unique VU meter with switchable 0 VU calibration between -18 or -8 dBFS assists in achieving optimal recording levels, while the PPM peak monitor detects transients and warns of 0 dBFS clipping. The new double-click feature allows you to display and manually enter data into each control knob, selecting the frequency and increasing and decreasing it faster and more accurately. Finally, an output gain control and polarity selector round out the feature set, making this plugin a great tool for many different studio applications.
Tiltration can be used in countless applications, from adding luscious harmonics to your digital tracks for extra warmth, or even adding distortion to guitar, bass, or vocals for analogue effect. Variable Slope High and Low Pass Filters add extra control to help you create completely different sounds and musical tones. The addition of dual-mode Tilt and Loudness EQ can easily add sparkle to any dull tracks with just one turn of a knob!
Each feature on Tiltration has a bypass control that lets you use each feature independently and quickly lets you hear your changes or bypass ones you don’t want to use.
For those who already own our Trident CB-9066 and Series 80B plugins, the addition of TILTRATION adds another dimension when used in tandem with EQs, adding harmonics and advanced tone shaping, giving you the perfect EQ chain.
