Intimate Studio Brass contains over 140 hours of session material and uses the best of modern recording and isolation technologies. True isolation means we were able to capture all four performers (Trumpet 1, Trumpet 2, Trombone and Bass Trombone) simultaneously, ensuring that all articulations blend smoothly between each performer, allowing you to mix, match and create your own sound.
In this collection of instruments, we experimented with both the darker, softer side of brass and the eccentric and unconventional effects found in many pop, swing and jazz pieces. While there aren’t many, the unique properties of dense, dry and dense studio brass are essential to create these styles, as well as many other contemporary compositions.
Each instrument comes with its own fully featured mixer, allowing you to fine-tune the sound and positioning of your individual ensemble.
